Waist-high grass tamed in Whitburn
This corner garden in Whitburn had been left to its own devices for a good while - the grass was waist-high and gone to seed, swallowing the path edge and creeping over the driveway.
It was cut down in stages: strimmed to a workable height first, then mowed and the edges brought back in. All the cuttings and green waste were taken away, leaving the owners with a lawn they can actually use - and a much easier garden to keep on top of from here.
A few weeks of regular cutting from now on will have it looking healthy and green again.
